Welcome To The Harvest

The Harvest is a contemporary church designed to reach the lost and unchurched people of today.

We are founded on the Great Commission found in Matthew 28:18-20. Our theme verse is John 4:35 where Jesus said “Do not say there are still four months and then comes the harvest. Look at the fields for they are already white to be harvested.”

Good Morning Everybody,

I hope you're having a great week. It's a beautiful day. We should enjoy what the Lord has given us today. I love starting my day with Terri looking into the Word and praying. This morning we looked into Deuteronomy 31. This is one of my favorite chapters in the Bible.

(Deuteronomy 31:7-8) "Then Moses called for Joshua, and all Israel watched, he said to him, "Be strong and courageous! For you will lead the people into the land that the Lord swore to their ancestors He would hive them. You are the one who will divided among them as their grants of land. 8) Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord will personally go ahead of you. he will be with you; He will neither fail you nor abandon you."

This was a critical time on the life of Moses, Joshua and the Children of Israel. They had finally reached their destination. God had called Moses to bring the Children of Israel from Egypt to the land He had promised them. Moses had done what he was called by God to do. Now it was time for them to go in, Moses was 120 years old and God was about to take him home. He was so close to God that God had revealed to him that he would not be entering in to the promised land but would be coming home to heaven (The ultimate Promised Land). God told Moses that Joshua would take the next leg of the trip across the Jordan and into the land. During this process of passing the baton, all Israel were watching.
Moses told Joshua what was happening and he would be the next God assigned leader of the congregation. Then he gave Joshua these words. "Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord will personally go ahead of you. He will be with you; He will never fail you or abandon you."
These wonderful words are to every one of us who have an assignment from God. (That's all of us). We do not have to be afraid or discouraged because what God assigns He aligns. Accept your assignment and go on in. Do not be afraid. If God assigned it, it's already bigger than you anyway. Just know He is faithful to keep us on task. Now join Terri and me in meditating on that today!
The Harvest Church is the Assignment of God! We've been running almost 10 years now and there are many years ahead of us. We will as a church see the fulfillment of His mighty Plan! He will never abandon us. He will personally go ahead of us. Let's watch Him in action. Lets take up His assignment! Let's Go in to His Promise!

See You All This Sunday!

Good Morning,

I hope you are all doing well today. Let me tell you God is about to open the door for us and let us into a season of His power and glory. Last night at The Harvest was awesome! God is calling us to His presence. We are going in. I know for those who are involved this is a stressful time. We are used to moving like this. It's confrontational. It's challenging. It's uncomfortable. But, It's worth it and we are going in to a place with God we've never been to before! I say we keep it going!
Even after we dismissed last night God was still moving! I was amazed how He was still working. I want to tell you to continue in what He has begun! (See Philippians 1:6)
This morning Terri and I read from (1 John 4:18 NIV). Check out the Word of God.

"There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not perfect in love."

The love of God does not lend itself to fear and punishment. It lends itself to power and confidence! Walk in His love and do not be afraid!
The enemy would have us to live in debilitating fear. God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of power and love and a sound mind! You can't think straight when you are afraid! The only place you can be strong is when you are basking in the love and power of God. Let Him minister faith, confidence and power to you today. Let that same love permeate your life and emanate from your life to spread to others around you!

Blessed in His Power!

Greetings in the Name that is Most High!

I was sad to hear that one of the greatest men of God who ever lived has left this world to go be in heaven with The Father. Billy Graham died this morning around 8 AM Eastern Time at his home in North Carolina. I've always felt that his death would bring about great spiritual significance. Now we will see. I feel such an anticipation today for something great! I know God is going to do something mighty. It just seems some days are like this. We just feel a rumbling from God.
The fact is, it all comes down to this.... Jesus is coming back! The whole world should prepare for His coming. Jesus will either come for individuals like He did this morning when he brought Billy Graham home or He will come in the sky to catch up in the air all who remain and are His at His appearing. The question remains... ARE YOU READY?
Many will be caught unprepared like the story of the 10 virgins Jesus gave in Matthew 25. Five of them had prepared for the coming of the Bride Groom. The other five did not prepare and did not have time to prepare when He came. I see this world moving faster and closer to His appearing and the end of this life as we all know it.
God has put it on my heart today not to talk about how to live but how to leave. Jesus is preparing a place for you but are you prepared for Him? First John 2:28 is a word to those of us who are already His Children. We must be found ready when He comes or else we will be ashamed.

(I John 2:28) "And now, little children, continue in Him, so that when He appears we may be confident and unashamed before Him at His coming."

Matthew 24:42 is a word to those who aren't His yet. There is a warning to all who have not received Him to get ready for His appearing.

(Mt 24:42) "Watch therefore for you do not know what hour your Lord is coming."

I as one of God's messengers call on you all to make sure you are ready to meet Him. If we will take care of this one detail all of the other things in life that take up so much of our attention will come in to place. Prioritize Him!

Looking Up
